Our Story
Domkop AI was founded in South Africa by Creative Crew Studio. We built it because international AI tools don't understand how South Africans actually communicate.
We code-switch. We use slang. We mix English with Afrikaans mid-sentence and throw in isiZulu for emphasis. We say "eish" and "sharp sharp" and "lekker" and expect people to keep up.
Most AI chatbots? They don't keep up. They get confused by our way of speaking, charge us in dollars, and assume we all have unlimited data and fast fibre connections.
So we built Domkop AI. An AI assistant that gets South Africa. That understands our languages, fits our budgets, and works on our connections. Proudly South African, with infrastructure designed for local data costs and connectivity.
