Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains your rights regarding refunds and cancellations for Domkop AI subscriptions and purchases, operated by Creative Crew Studio Ltd (Company No. NI696783).
1. 7-Day Cooling-Off Period
In terms of section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act), you have the right to cancel your initial subscription purchase within 7 days of the transaction date, without giving any reason, and receive a full refund.
To exercise this right:
- Email us at info@creativecrewstudio.co.uk with your account email and the subject line "Cooling-off cancellation"
- Or cancel directly in the app under Account Settings
Refunds under the cooling-off period will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time through one of these methods:
- In-app: Go to Account Settings and select "Cancel Subscription"
- Email: Send a cancellation request to info@creativecrewstudio.co.uk
In terms of section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), you have the right to cancel a fixed-term agreement with 20 business days' notice. We honour cancellations effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
3. What Happens When You Cancel
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You will continue to have access to all features of your plan until the billing period ends
- After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free tier
- Your conversation history and account data will be retained (see our Privacy Policy for retention details)
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
4. Unused Credits
- Unused monthly credits from your subscription do not roll over to the next billing cycle
- Unused credits are not refundable after the 7-day cooling-off period
- Credit top-up bundles are non-refundable once purchased, as they are available for immediate use
5. Refunds Outside the Cooling-Off Period
After the 7-day cooling-off period, we generally do not offer refunds for subscription payments. However, we may consider refund requests in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Extended service outages caused by us
- Duplicate or erroneous charges
- Technical issues that prevented you from using the Service for a significant portion of your billing period

6. Downgrading
You may downgrade your subscription tier at any time. The downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You will retain access to your current tier's features until the end of the current billing period. The price difference is not refunded.
7. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (for South African users) or the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (for UK users). If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may contact the relevant consumer protection authority.
